What do we collect?
How nice that you too want to help our fellow man in need! Also this year Take Care Of Your Neighbor collects stuff for the benefit of the refugees on the Greek islands.
What do we collect and what not?
From the refugee camps we hear which items are in great shortage, how we can best deliver this and which items are unfortunately not usable for the target group. Click on the image below to see what you can deliver to us. Do you want to know why we cannot use everything? We explain that here.
Do you want to organize a special fundraiser?
Download one of the action flyers (Word document) below and fill in your own details. Save the flyer as a PDF file to be able to send it by e-mail or print it to hand out and hang it up. Do you also want to share the promotion on social media? Then you can download and share the special accompanying images. Please note: state in the description of your post where the items can be returned and exactly what you do / do not collect. Thanks in advance and good luck!

We hope again this year for a good collaboration with the CRR foundation from Nieuw-Lekkerland.
The (preliminary) transport schedule for 2020 is as follows:
January: Chios winter items (left)
February: Samos winter items (left)
May: Lesvos summer items (left)
June: camps on mainland Greece summer items (left)
October: emergency transport Lesvos winter items
November: Samos winter items
November: Lesvos winter items
December: Winter items camps on mainland Greece
This means that we currently only collect winter clothing for clothing. We hope to start collecting summer clothing again in the spring of 2021. If you still have summer clothes before then: would you want to keep it? We always collect hygiene items, personal care products, sleeping bags, diapers, sanitary towels, etc. all year round.
